Introducing Light & Dark Trades
A Creative Solutions Specialist

Welcome to Light & Dark Trades

I’m Danielle — most call me Danni — and I’m so grateful you’re here.

Light & Dark Trades is my one-woman venture, born from lived experience, fueled by passion, and built on the belief that there is no light without darkness. After years of navigating personal challenges, career pivots, and moments of deep transformation, I realized I was never meant to follow the traditional 9-to-5 path. It was too predictable, too confined — and honestly, just not me.

The spark for this business lit up on a motorcycle ride with friends. That day, someone asked me what I did before becoming an EMT/PCP. I laughed and said, “Oh, you know, a jack of all trades, master of none.” He smiled and replied with the full quote: “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”

That hit me hard — and stuck. It was the moment Light & Dark Trades truly came to life.

Now, I offer creative, flexible, and intentional contracting services that reflect the many paths I’ve walked:

  • Psychology admin support

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) sessions

  • Event planning & management

  • Photography

  • Health & wellness workshops

And at the core of it all? A passion for the intersection of motorcycles and mental health — a space where freedom, community, and healing ride side by side.

This is more than a business. It’s a reflection of the belief that we are all made of many parts — light and dark, chaos and calm, grit and grace. And I’m here to help others bring their own complex visions to life, one creative solution at a time.

Future Goals

I’m building a small business that not only supports my livelihood, but also brings me joy—a space where my creativity, curiosity, and passion can thrive. My vision is to create a haven for healing, connection, and authentic expression, while continuing to grow as both a student and a business owner.

I’m currently committed to deepening my knowledge through continued mind-body education, including:

  • Somatic Experiencing® Training

  • The Grief Recovery Method® Certification

  • A Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology

Outside of my work, I find inspiration in adventure—riding motorcycles, exploring new places, and connecting with others along the way. As I grow this business, my hope is to build not just services, but a vibrant community grounded in authenticity, creativity, and shared exploration.
